So for my 3rd play through, I have been playing as dark urge oath of devotion paladin redemption arc. As we all know, dark urge automatically breaks his oath after killing alfira during camp long rest. But I had saved her but knocking her a day before that. So quill came and I killed her due to my urge. "But this didn't break my oath".

I can’t help but agree. I think breaking your paladin oath is a little too easily done, and the consequence is annoyingly great.
