Aug 20, 2011 · Thanks guys. The easiest way to take these off is to either buy or find an old deep well 1/2 drive socket that just barely fits around the lug nut. Then just take a hammer and beat it on there as far as you can and grab your 1/2 ratchet and take it out. Easy as cake. This will probably ruin your wheel locks though. EV6 has M12 x 1.5 studs from the factory. Just go with 80-85 lbs. You'll be fine. I can't vouch for the quality of Kia studs or lug nuts, so going higher than 85 lbs might break a nut or a stud.
