CJ7 Frame and underside of the tub painting questions. So I finally have my tub, engine, and frame stripped down to where all I have to do now is sand, and paint it and patch a few rust spots. But my main question is, what product do you guys reccoment? I have seen a few good mentions of por-15 but thats about it.

ALL 4.0 engines use the same belt. If the vehicle was an "AC delete", an idler pulley was put in place of the compressor. And-----there is NO WAY to "reroute" a shorter belt to bypass the need for the idler pulley. The OEM one isn't going to work anymore due to the motor etc being out of it. You will need to provide the fuel pump relay with another source of switched power, as the Jeep ECM is not providing one now. Just my 2 cents, When I first got my jeep on 05, I primed the entire frame with Rustoleum primer and Rustoluem professional paint. Came out really good, and still holding up today. The intermittent issue is pretty common, if you've replaced the motor and intermittant module then the last piece is the stalk. They run about $45-80 on rockauto. For the parking issue, try removing the wipers and looking at the bushings.
