Back in October 2022, we announced the arrival of Tim (Halgari) to the Nexus Mods team. We touched briefly on the future of Vortex and potential 2.0 updates. Things went a bit ‘stealth mode’ after that, so now it’s time to give more of an update on how the team has developed and how we see the next generation of mod management.
This was a nice, relaxed challenge after last week. It was fun to let your guard down a little bit, and I feel like we found some fun ghosts (Poltergeist and Obake; Revenant is boring with these settings). My only annoyance was it felt impossible to get fingerprints without intentionally looping the ghost at a tent door to get an interaction. I feel like one of the development goals of Phasmophobia is for each ghost to have some defining behavior, and nightmare mode is the Dev's petri dish for determining which ghosts need to be changed.
