To be honest, like most employer-based healthcare, it's as good as your employer is willing to pay for it. without any additional details, all I can say with certainty is that Cigna's OAP is basically the same as a PPO, but with a few tweaks, primarily to their contract w/ healthcare providers.Maybe Cigna was able to offer an equivalent plan to your employer but at a cost of only $1100. Your employer doesn't have to tell yo the plan costs less. Maybe they still make you pay $600 for it. If your employer group is self-funded, which it in all likelihood is, those premium savings are kept by them. Opinions on Cigna health network?
