I recently compared the Gen 4 G30, a G30 SF, and a G30s all side by side. All were new in the box, were blue labels and were priced exactly the same.Using a 13 round G21 mag in my G30s regularly. No problems. Enjoy (got one from midway last week) So, to summarize; Slide will use any G36 barrel Frame uses G30sf parts Mags from G21 work well What I haven't found is a compatible butt plug (for the gun).I recently bought a G30S and I love it. It was good to see him measure the slide widths of the G21 (1.126") and G41 (1.003") with a caliper and correctly report the difference is 1/8". Other reviewers have mistakenly reported the difference is 1/4" or more. The mere 10 fps increase in 5-shot average muzzle velocity of the G41 over the G21 was an eye opener for me.

The G30SF and G30S are not the same. G30S = G30SF frame with a G36 slide. G30SF is the short frame that still has the standard fat G30 slide.
