If I do a EGR and DPF delete, full exhaust with no cat but a muffler, CR170 turbo upgrade, and Malone stage 2 tune, would it pass the computer side of emissions?
An EGR delete is useless imo, if your car isn't burning oil it won't get clogged up. When the throttle is close to the floor or the rpm is over 3k the EGR stops interfering and acts like it isn't there. It helps with emissions when cruising or idling. Joined Oct 20, 2023 Location Nags Head NC TDI 2012 Jetta TDIYanked out the egr cooler and looped the fluid hose to the heater core with a brass fitting. Yanked out the adblue tank with heater, wiring, hose, injector etc. Replaced the egr with a race pipe and cleaned out the intake manifold. Hardest part was pulling the egr without pulling down the inter cooler.
Post DPF delete MPG 2012 Jetta - mostly high speed interstate. Gotta get those numbers up. Drive slower lol. Haha if I go any slower than 75mph they ride my ass like crazy. Surprised how low that is. I get that in my 2011 TDI JSW on the highway. This is at avg speed of 75-80mph for 36 miles (my commute).
