Jul 27, 2022 · There are 56 rides at Carowinds (including the Water Park). This includes 14 roller coasters (kids and adults), two of which make the 10 tallest coasters in the world. We did our best to ride tall the coasters. Unfortunately a few were currently closed AND we had two thunderstorms roll in, which shut down all the rides. A group of parkgoers were escorted out of Carowinds following an incident of “unruly behavior and altercations,” according to park officials.
