Champion = Better bosser. Gladiator = Better mapper. I will recommend starting off as Gladiator because it does better with little investment and with the set up used you get a ton of free attack speed which is needed to make Bladestorm feel nice. With Gladiator you will be able to map faster early on and complete your atlas faster.
