In my experience, legendary LS are terrible for drops. Master is way more rewarding. I did Veles Labyrinth Master as shadebinder with bleak watcher. Averaged 3 minute runs and got about 10 exotics for 24 runs. And to add to this, lost sectors on the moon are terrible to grind along with most in tangled shore. Edz and cosmodrome are the best.
One day I ran lost sectors 5 times and got to exotics. The other day I ran it 30 times to finally get one. If you can do the master one then your chances are much better in getting that drop. If you can’t then be prepared to grind it if you really want that exotic. The Lost Sector was designated to drop Helmets. We just got lucky like you. You can run them in a fireteam but exotics only drop on solo clears. You can get exotics, but they will not be that days slot specific nor does it have bad luck protection. To get slot specific and get guaranteed new items you have to run solo.
