If it is the IWE grinding it's not urgent but it'll eventually grind itself out and the hub won't lock when you put it in 4x4. On the '21 F150's, Ford ahs done away with the vacuum system. It is now an electric motor at each IWE, that gives feedback to the "system" regarding position of engagement, ABS feedback, and maybe some other stuff. I don't know a lot about it yet.
