I'm glad they posted the video and LMG should be criticized for all the wrongdoing, but let's not be naive. Gamers Nexus surely stands to benefit from this, even with monetization off. They're up 30k subscribers since this whole thing started.Linus and LMG has shown to not really be trustworthy and lack the integrity to do things like simple disclosures. The billet and Linus' response is the last straw for me. The fact is they can't even say they fired an employee, as there clearly is a systemic issue within the company that all spurs from how Linus has essentially been running it.1. GN had reasons for not contacting LMG he has tried to contact LMG in the past over things they got wrong or things that needed to be addressed, Linus ignored them, so Steve understandably didn't want to contact them. 2. Gamers Nexus has a goal of generating revenue as well. It's not as nearly as big as LMG, but it does exist to make money and gives their employees a paycheck. They generate money from monetizing youtube videos, as well as sponsorships and selling their own merch.It was about LMG's and Linus' ego and disregard for others that is the problem. He backs up his statements using LMG's own videos and interviews. I've enjoyed LTT videos, but Steve's comments do strike a chord with me. Pretty much. I watch LTT if I want to see what weird crap Linus is doing to his house, or see them try to cool a PC with some random industrial equipment they found.
