2088 posts · Joined 2007. #1 · Dec 6, 2007. yep, you read that right, Ford has announced a recall on all 7.3L's 1997 - 2003 over the CPS problem. unfortunately, those of us (which includes me) that have the 94 - 96 are not part of the recall even though we have the CPS problem as well. the following link is the story from yahoo:The 5 is the cold rating and the 40 is the hot rating so its ok to use in the summer. I was running the T5 10-30 in my 6.0 up until i traded it in. They recommended 10-30 year round for that motor unless you were doing lots of heavy towing. So i would go right ahead and use the T6. It helped a lot in the winter cold starts up here in MN.

Oil Separator CCV and DPF replacement warning. I am really happy with my 2018 6.7 F350, but wondering if it is really a truck to keep for the long haul. At under 41K miles its on its 3rd DPF. First two replaced under bumper-to-bumper, last one just went in at 39K out of B-to-B warranty but luckily replaced at no cost due to Oil Separator ...I had to bend the EBP tube to get it to fit but I have been driving for a week with no issues. Today I get the CEL and codes p0472 (Exhaust Pressure Sensor A circuit low) and p2263 (turbo / super charge boost system performance). SCUFFY828. 9449 posts · Joined 2006. #5 · Sep 30, 2008. if you look around the fuel pump area , there are 3 plug ins on the fuel pump if it has it and only 2 if it doesnt , 3 are pump power , water in fuel sensor and heater , if it doesnt its fairly obvious.IIRC, the oil specs are in the Diesel Supplement and/or owner's manual. I also noted in the specs for my 08 6.4 Lariat (sold in 2014, wish I had kept it) that it also specifically says that 15W-40 (conventional) or 5W-40 (synthetic) oil is REQUIRED for towing and/or severe service use.Essentially, this creates a pretty constant 3 PSI inlet pressure on the HPFP. (This is straight from the 6.4 Bible) Important Facts: 1. The HPFP on the 6.4 is called the K16. It was built by Siemens.
