Karazhan is the first expansive raid of the expansion, meaning that the requirements are fairly basic. To start, you’ll need at least 1 attuned raid member. You’ll also want at least 2 tanks, 3-4 healers, and 4-5 DPS. You should aim for 3 healers, but 4 might be smart if you’re just learning the raid.

It starts out with doing mythic Halls of Valor, with the quest Edict of the God-King . You need to Attune to it. In Dalaran Khadgar should have a quest for you. Do that. It requires like 3 or 5 Mythic dungeons be done. Four mythics. You get a quest from khadgar to do Trials Of Valor mythic dungeon. Follow that quest line.You do not lose the urn after the quest it is provided for. You will need to bring the urn to Karazhan and use it to summon the dragon on any subsequent visits to the dungeon if you want to down Nightbane during that visit.
