Keeping the firing pin depressed, slide the firing pin stop down.

Kimber's sight cuts are tapered. Use calipers to measure the dovetail. Obviously you want to push the sight out the big side. I have found them to be tapered by almost .010" sometimes.

Remove the slide from the frame, use your fingers to pull the spring up out of the reverse plug...it only has to be pulled up about 1/8" and the end butted against the barrel link will pop up.Recently I just got a Kimber Royal Carry .45 Compact.
