How to tell a real german luger.
Help with Luger Identification. This Luger was passed to me by my father and I'm trying to learn as much about its manufacturer and production date as possible. I've started to review other posting about Lugers and such but I thought I go ahead and post some pictures of mine. I believe that he purchased it at a gun show in the early 1990s.

Pour enough paste over the grips to completely immerse them. Let the grips soak in the paste. If grips are nice but just need a little help, 1 or 2 hours will do it. Real black and cruddy grips will need several hours.
