The amount of iron in milo is not close to Ironite (if applied at the recommended levels). Also, Ironite has such a higher percent, it has such good coverage for a small bag. My lawn requires 10 bags of milo, but only 3 of Ironite. Even then, the green from Ironite is so much more noticeable because it's putting down a lot more iron per sq ft.
