Back when they used USGI parts and before BULA started new production parts. JRA was using some Criterion barrels at that time and there was a batch that had rough chambering. My rifle was unfortunately one of them.

JRA Rockola M14's are a good deal, as its hard to build the same rifle building from parts for the same price, but if you buy your own parts you can control exactly what goes into it.
