It should not cost much and usually only takes a few minutes to connect to the truck computer. An illuminated engine light is something that needs immediate attention. I have a kenworth 2016 t680 with a cab blower motor issue. The blower motor will cut off for a minute then start back up. And it will do this 4 to 5 times before it stays on. It will do this every time the truck starts up after a 3 hr no run. I changed the blower motor thinking it might be shorting. That didn't work.The fault code that needs to be looked at is the SPN 1043 FMI 4. This is a short in a common sensor supply.
