Since it has a 15 INT requirement, it's the same as a lot of the useful Dragon School and Golden Sorceries. (Spook, Hidden Body, Chameleon, etc). However, don't invest into INT just to get this spell.

I have never played any sorcerer in DS3, so I am not experience with the sorcery catalysts at all. Of course I want the best catalyst for this spell (which will most likely be the only spell). According to wikidot the damage bonus for Crystal Magic Weapon is 0.95xSpellBuff.
