He tends to put a super hard question in every homework assignment that will take a lot of time but won't really increase your understanding of the material. Lectures are dry and his handwriting is atrocious. Professor Gallup is a fantastic instructor. I loved this class. He is a caring professor who students can turn to for guidance in their academics, as well as in their careers. He is easily one of the top professors I have had at PSU. I highly recommend taking this class. Ask lots of questions, because he is extremely knowledgeable and passionate. Dr Cohen is a great professor who is has good views in philosophy. His grading is fair and workload can be overwhelming at times. Just dont fall behind on the reading and things will go good. Take part in the class discussions as 25% of your grade is on participation The other 75% is off two series of essays.
