Depends heavily on your progress through the map. I would say lv 19 with the machete is fine. Just try entering new areas and focus on getting new quests, which can also lead to new weapons/tools. A little spoiler for you: I am level 19 with the machete and I feel too powerful in my opinion. I’m one hitting every zombie.

Go to the room with locked door to launchpad. 2. try to open the door. 3. read the note. 4. go to fortress. 5. go to the link tower and you'll see new option. Feb 9, 2022 · I wholeheartedly agree with camp-based fast travel, the map is BIG. I'm doing the Ark quest right now and I'd especially love it for getting back to my farms, a lot of them aren't as close as I'd like them to be to the towers.

I needed this, I really got tired of walking all the way over to an area realizing it doesn't feel right and walking all the way over to another area. If fast travel by campfires was a thing it'd be so much better.I bought the DLC just for fast travel between camps and went straight underground to unlock this feature and It works for the new map, but not on the old one. Because the base game fast travel feature is from pylon to pylon and the campfire version is a DLC upgrade to it? Putting the better version in the base game right away would make the original one, which is also free by just activating each pylon, a moot point.
Most games alleviate these inconveniences the farther you progress and Dysmantle does this well. Yes you cant fast travel between the Underworld and the main game, but this is hardly limited to Dymantle in design. Lots of games have seperate maps that dont let you fast travel between them if they are not connected in one instance. The dlc lets you return to the main game but are set in different/new maps. The underworld dlc unlocks fast travel between campfires if you install a transmitter at the link towers.
