14 Vehicle Shudder problem of the 2008 GMC Acadia. Failure Date: 09/15/2014. During acceleration the vehicle vibrates when going between 35 and 45 mph. Was not able to reproduce issue at dealership last fall, but is now getting much worse. Happens almost everytime the vehicle accelerates.
I have a VF Calais V 2014. It has developed this slight shudder when driving – but only when I accelerate – between 50-80 kph. No noises when idling or starting. No shudder/vibration on cruise at higher speeds. It is not a constant thing – only when I have to regain speed – and only a short time – 10/20 seconds ?When driving around 60mph there is a shake that can be felt in the steering wheel. It gets worse when accelerating; you can take your hands off the wheel and watch it shake a good couple degrees. I have a 2012 Acadia Denali that was experiencing the same issue rpm fluctuation under load. Thinking it was a gas/air mixture issue I tried swapping coils, spark plugs, cleaning gas tank, and cleaning the throttle body. It helped, but did not resolve the issue. There were no engine lights so I had nothing to go on.
