k91. Looks like the brake arm spring to me. Pull the arm so the brake pad touches the spindle like it is supposed to when the deck is off and you should be able to see where the spring goes. Sometimes its just a bolt sticking up on the deck. Like silver hair deere says with your model number you can get the manual and parts breakdown.
