When the game initially launched the disc only contained game 1 and a portion of 2 and 3 and there was a 30 GB update to access the other games.Technological complexity isn't really that important for art, that's why there's good 8-bit music or simple sprite art. That said maybe Reignited 2/3 is better than original 2/3, because it better suits their tone. The problem is that it was literally sold as a Spyro game. A Spyro game where he has practically nothing to do with the plot. Why do the elders trust Spyro? (Specifically in the first game) One plothole I've noticed from the first game is that the elders seem totally fine with Spyro going out to defeat Gnasty Gnorc on his own. Honestly, this is pretty irresponsible on their part. That's like allowing a little kid to go to war/the army.

But Skylanders is an entirely different franchise that features a different version of Spyro as one of the playable characters and one of the main media characters in the series.
