I realise this is likely 3 months too late, but for others who have these exact problems (green LED and 'give me disks' message with no drives, but blinking blue LED with ANY disk added), the solution that worked for me was to replace the power supply. Thanks 4 helping. The 'loss of connectivity' light is different and I have seen it before. I *think* it meant downloading updates, but it's annoying there is no 'handbook' to tell us what these lights mean.
