I went to the Vdara when it first opened and been there a couple of times. It was great. This trip, however, was a different story. Las Vegas itself has changed dramatically in the last few years. The Vdara has poor customer service. Our first day the room they checked us into was dirty. Aria is a full service casino/resort, with a casino (duh!), several restaurants, an elaborate pool area, shows, bars, etc. Vdara is a condo type property that happens to be attached to Aria. I've stayed in Aria but not Vdara, and can recommend both the standard room and the corner suite (at Aria).
