Meaning if you bought 10 212 Ghost engines and slapped them into 10 chassis, they'd all share the same specs with no mods and you'd have a level playing field for racing.
Buying a 212/224 and putting a torque converter and stage 1 on it, and doing the same to a 196 will get you same results (if each engine is stock). The Ghost is different, it's Harbor Freight's cheap line entry into purpose built racing engines, much like the Tillotson/Ducar engines.
