For anyone wondering why specifically amber oil and not other oils that make the encounter easier - reductions basically have increasing returns measured in total amount of towers. eg. if you use one amber oil, you can build 25% more towers (1/0.8=1.25), but with two amber oils you can build 67% more and when you make it three 150% more towers.

The towers should be able to easily kill a lot of white monsters and when there is a rare/boss that they struggle with you just blow up the corpses under them. Blight ravaged monsters have a lot of hp too so the detonations will do decent damage.Otherwise you'd end up with 3 annoints. If you enjoy blight so much, why do you find this ring to be mandatory? Unless your other ring is mega expensive (generally a mirror-tier ring), this ring isn't even that good. And if your other ring IS mega-expensive, not sure why you can't afford to gear your character enough to render the annoint trivial.
