All the ONT's currently being installed have either a 2.5 or a 10g port. I believe they're color coded, blue = 1g, red = 2.5g, green = 10g...but I could have that mixed up. My ONT recently threw a red light ("i" status light) and was failing a firmware update. I believe it was last Friday. Phone support said they can't see anything on the ONT in regards to this, there's allegedly no way to do so. A reboot resolved the issue.
