Nov 23, 2023 · Wanted to post an update on this. If you upgrade all the weapons you get from this mod, to MK3, they'll be linked to your account no matter if you remove the mod later. Came across this while trying to remedy the Optical Camo. Unfortunately, didn't fix the optical camo yet. But you keep the guns if you upgrade it.

Yeah the base Opti camo is kinda useless, I’d try and upgrade it to at least level 1-2 as quickly as possible. The upgrades aren't just about making it last longer or recharge faster.
