I'm trying to barricade my windows and I can't. The option appears, but when I click it all my character does is get the materials ready but then he doesn't actually barricade the window. I'm carpentry 2 so I don't think that's the problem. I'm using a saw and a ball peen hammer. metal sheets and metal bars have the same hp at 5000 when wooden barricades have 1000 hp per plank. personally, i use wooden barricades since they're easier to get and looks a lot nicer. you can also use 2 wooden planks or metal bars to be able to see through the window while still having it protected. Barricade it with a metal plate on the inside, then go outside and barricade with metal bars. It looks pretty good and lots of protection. Can't see outside of it though.
