The number has only four digits, 36xx. The revolver is in very good mechanical condition with a clean up-pitted barrel. It locks up tight and appears to work well in both DA and SA modes. During (and before these days) S&W stamped the serial number on the frame, cylinder, barrel, and the extractor. It's a bit rare to find a K-22 or K-38 with non-matching parts.
