Tradovate does have the market replay feature which is awesome for practicing but it does cost $50/m if not on the Active Trader plan, which again doesn't offer much of a discount on micros. Both Tradovate and TS have sim accounts, but TS has no market replay feature. However, it is far easier to view, or even export, historical data with TS.Open PnL and price were still moving all the while no order action worked. 1 minute later the "close and cancel everything" button worked and I got my short closed of course right at the top. 3 minutes after the first issues started my original stop loss suddenly turns up as filled and as an unrelated open position.
