Lyft making the news about not paying drivers to work on New Year's Eve. By 10:30 or so last night, my Lyft application was showing everything and working acceptably. In fact, Lyft had more and consistent Bonus Zones than Uber had Surge Zones. As soon as I completed my Mickey Mouse Uber "Quest", I went to Lyft.
