I got the always on version. The problem with the always on is it isnt really always on. Swampfox sent a second Sentinel II out for me to take a look at and RMA’d the first unit, but side-by-side, the fish-eye effect is identical. While it isn’t a significant problem, it is noticeable and worse at shorter distances. Outside of about 7 yards, it's less noticeable and doesn't get in the way. Swampfox sentinel anesthetics looks better to me than the holosun imo. Get the auto version, you wont regret it. Most people here will say holosun but this under dog is quite nice. This was a comforting comment to read, as the Shield Plus I’m purchasing doesn’t allow for Holosun’s footprint.
