You have spells, healing, utitilty and you can put out insane burst damage, you are tanky thanks to absorb elements and shield and buff the whole group with aura of protection. And it comes online at level 4-5 so pretty early i would say. The ratios of Sorcerer/paladin levels are. 1) 10/2 for sorcerers that occasionally smite for lots of damage. 2) 7/5 for damage dealing paladins with lots of smites. 3) 6/6 for tanky frontline that still smites a lot. There are many options here, but I would go with at least level 6 paladin to get Aura of Protection. Going to Level 7 is only worth of Oath of the Ancients or Oathbreaker. Feel free to check my Sorcadin build guide. I’m thinking 8/4 pally/sorc just so I don’t miss out on the feat/ability score improvement.
