Blew computers mind, had to take it to dealer to clear and reset and informed me to always shut it off. It helps sensors reset and register the def level quicker.It can also be a failed or failing DOC or DPF. If you have a scanner or data display that shows the temp sensors in the exhaust you should see the DPF inlet and outlet temps come up around 1200 degrees or so during regen.
