Trying to Transfer my phone number from Net10 to Mint mobile but won't work. My phone number is eligible to transfer but whenever I click transfer request it kept failing. They always say the reason for failure is "req_received_outof_bus_hrs."
As far as I know you can only port a number to a new SIM card (or eSIM) under a new acccount/line, you will lose any service that is on the existing SIM, but u/mintmobilealex might be able to get credit for the lost service transferred over to the new SIM. 1. Update #3: 18 days after porting... I had a chat session with Rumary at Mint. Rumary was able to see that the number was ported from Google Voice to Mint and classified as a LANDLINE number, because that is how they are classified with Google Voice. There was a request entered to update the classification of the number from landline to mobile.
