The Taurus shoots quite well but the side plate and ejector latch screws loosen after each shooting at the range. I don't want a carry gun with screws that loosen. Both Ruger's don't have these screws to loosen.This allowed more metal in the frame and cylinder without increasing the overall weight. I have a blued 4" Security-Six (half lug) and a Stainless 4" GP100 (full lug). The GP100 weighs 39 oz, the Security-Six weighs 38 oz.
