They are both great quality barrels and there are many other barrel makers as well that produce great barrels like Shilen,Rock creek and the list goes on. I personaly believe the person chambering and crowning the barrel will be more of a factor than brand name.I like McGowen barrels and get a new barrel every year for one of a bunch of rifles. All three were equally accurate, and the best groups I could get with each of them for 5 shots at 50 yards measured 1/4". I used a 20x scope for the tests.Welcome to Shilen Rifles, Inc. My select match cleans up without a trace of copper while the other tends to have a small amout of copper in it. You will have to be a benchrest shooter to notice the difference in accuracy!

The …If you want a decent barrel for your CZ and want it to shoot superbly, buy a blank from a reputable source, Lilja, Benchmark, Shilen, etc., and have a gunsmith you trust cut, crown and chamber it for you.
