Throw the gears into the Isotropic superfinish machine for a flash cut, probably gain 1/2-1 HP plus less heat/friction. These are relatively new but seem to hold up and can be easily repaired. As far as their goodness (and availability) in the MX sizes and applications it remains to be seen.

Jun 24, 2012 · Often times you can compress the forks with a tie down between the handlebar and lower fork leg to get the bike in, and I have even seen people remove the front wheel and use a wheelbarrow wheel for transit.
